We are pleased to announce that Professor John Lennox, the world famous Oxford academic, has accepted an invitation to come to Australia in and will be the speaker at the 2021 Outer Eastern Prayer Breakfast. He is known for his debates with well-known atheists, such as Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens, and loves presenting a strong alternative perspective. You are invited to book a ticket for yourself and a friend, who is curious about the Christian faith.
John Lennox is Professor of Mathematics at the University of Oxford, Fellow in Mathematics and the Philosophy of Science, and Pastoral Advisor at Green Templeton College, Oxford. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford University and at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics and is a Senior Fellow of the Trinity Forum.
In addition, he teaches for the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme at the Executive Education Centre, Said Business School, Oxford University.
He is much loved for his quick, Irish wit and sense of humour. His extensive travels have exposed him to a variety of cultures, including former communist Europe and Asia. He is able to converse in numerous languages including Russian and German.
Prof Lennox has written numerous titles on the interface between science, philosophy and theology, including God’s Undertaker: Has Science Buried God? (2009), God and Stephen Hawking: Whose Design is it Anyway? (2011), Gunning for God: Why the New Atheists Are Missing the Target (2011) and Seven Days that Divide the World: The Beginning According to Genesis and Science (2011).
He has debated Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Peter Singer and Lawrence Krauss at events around the globe, and is hailed as one of the most gifted speakers of our age.
Trained in London with 20 years international acting experience, Dale Stevens, has performed in a wide variety of theatre, film and television.
She has had leading roles in Missions Impossible, A Streetcar Named Desire and Blue Heelers.
Dale began 'Present with Presence' to share her knowledge and experience to inspire and empower others to have their ideas heard and their presence felt.
